Moon Greetings – the beginnings

We all remember that year. The one where the world stopped for a while. I’d already been quietly taking a moment through the moon phases to note and attune to the calendar of the natural world around me. With less busy going on, this was my time to draw these pauses as well.

Moon Greetings 2020. Full moon and new moon, a pause to notice the natural world at that moment in time. The beginning of several collections focused on a sense of place and of season.

These artworks are created in watercolour and ink on 180gsm watercolour paper. Approximately 6 x 6″ artwork on 8 x 8″ paper. Best suited to a square frame, but will fit a standard 8 x 10″ or A4 frame.
If you would prefer these pre-framed please let me know.

A number of these have already sold despite my insipid efforts of promotion at the time. Finally they are added to the shop!

The Meditative Garden Collections

The Meditative Garden Collections

Themes of pausing to behold the nature in your every day life weave through these collections.

You don’t need a postcard perfect landscape to appreciate nature. We all have access to pockets of the natural world and the wonders within.

These are all small works, up to 8 x 10″.
Works on paper are matted and ready to frame.
Works on canvas are ready to hang. Framing is optional.

Meditative Studies

Looking slowly and carefully at every detail is like a meditation. Pausing to really notice nature slows time, inspires awe and mindful peace. Quietly created as drawing meditations, these studies of nature are zen for your walls.
Ink on watercolour paper. 5 x 7″ artworks. Matted, ready to put in a standard 8 x 10″ frame.

The Sunshine was like powdered gold

May it make you as famous as your lovely work deserves, and let people see what you do so beautifully.
Brilliant!

Just wanted to say a big thanks for the 4 Meditative Studies which arrived earlier in the week. They are great, and exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be raving about them to everyone we know! Thanks for the prompt service as well.

We’re so happy with the mushroom burger painting. It’s really become a focus of how we set up our kitchen – in fact we chose colours for a kitchen unit that we’ve rejuvenated to match.

I live and work on the beautiful lands of the Gumbaynggirr people. These lands were stolen. Sovereignty was never ceded.
I do my best to offer love and respect to all their Elders; past, present, and future.
I extend this respect and reverence to all Indigenous Elders across all nations throughout the world.
Let’s look after them and the old stories they hold from the land. We all need them more than ever.
