Art Commissions Very Welcome
Direct enquiries and art commissions are very welcome. If you like my work and want me to create the perfect piece/s for you, or your space, or as a memorable gift, we can work together.
Original art comes in all sorts of sizes & complexity for all sorts of budgets.
I disagree with those…who say we are going to have to make do with less. In fact, we are going to make do with more: more beauty, more community, more fulfillment, more art, more music, and material objects that are fewer in number but superior in utility and aesthetics… In keeping with the sacredness of all things, I advocate an embrace, not an eschewing, of materialism. I think we will love our things more and not less… Put succinctly, the essential need that goes unmet today, the fundamental need that takes a thousand forms, is the need for the sacred — the experience of uniqueness and connectedness… We are starving for spiritual nourishment. We are starving for a life that is personal, connected, and meaningful.”
I specialise in art that seeks to create a nature connection and promote healing. Art that has a social conscience.
Medical centres, hospitals, alternative healing businesses; and environmental and nature themed organisations are especially encouraged; as well as interior designers and interested individuals.
My work begins with me gaining an understanding of your ideas, then I’ll put these into sketch form. Even if you don’t know how to explain what you have in mind, I have a gift for distilling out the essence of what is wanted.
Together we will scope your project requirements, logistics (I am based in regional NSW Australia and will ship anywhere) and work out a realistic timeline, all confirmed and agreed in writing. I will like to have a chat on the phone with you as I find this is the best way to get a sense of what you are seeking. A one third deposit (non-refundable) is required to begin sketching your works.
There will be a one third progress payment once the preliminary sketches/paintings are approved. Progress photos are regularly supplied along the way to keep you up to date and ensure the work is proceeding as you expect.
The balance is required before the final artwork is shipped.
The hand-created nature of artwork gives a unique energy that is nearly impossible to capture by any other method. People often find that paintings in real life have far more ‘life’, substance and nuance than digital ones, even digital images of a particular painting are somehow flattened and quiet in comparison to their real-life counterparts.”
